A Note from Heather…

Adult Therapy in Knoxville, TN
I work with adults who are navigating depression, anxiety, stress, life transitions, grief, relationship challenges, and personal growth. My approach is holistic and collaborative: together, we identify goals and develop a plan that aligns with your strengths and unique needs. I use evidence-based therapies, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and person-centered approaches, while integrating self-care, mindfulness, and spirituality as desired.

Therapy can be challenging, but it can also be transformative and even enjoyable. My goal is to provide a supportive space where you can heal, grow, and move toward clarity, resilience, and a deeper sense of joy.

Children, Adolescents, and Family Counseling
I also work extensively with children, adolescents, and families, offering guidance and support through life’s challenges. My work with young clients incorporates experiential therapies, play therapy techniques, expressive sandtray work, and art therapy, creating a safe and engaging environment tailored to each child’s needs.

I partner with families to develop strategies that strengthen communication, resolve conflicts, and nurture emotional well-being. I believe that each person and each situation requires a personalized approach, and I strive to find the path that works best for every client.

Therapy with children can be both meaningful and fun, helping them build resilience, confidence, and emotional skills that last a lifetime.

Why Choose Therapy With Me
Counseling is a journey of growth, healing, and self-discovery. Whether you are an adult seeking clarity and balance, or a parent or child needing support, I am honored to walk alongside you every step of the way. My approach combines evidence-based techniques, creativity, and holistic care to help clients feel empowered and supported throughout the therapeutic process.
